Morning Exercise: Walk & Talk Hosted by Peter Stilwell
6:15 am – 7:00 am

The Halifax Health Talk and Walk program is collaborating with the CES Annual Conference! Morning group walks and talks will take place on May 28th and 29th from 6:15 - 7:00 am. The Halifax Health Talk and Walk program is a local initiative created and facilitated by two licensed physiotherapists who are currently studying medicine at Dalhousie University, and two Dalhousie graduate students; one is a MA candidate conducting health promotion and policy research and the other is a PhD candidate conducting low back pain research.

On both days, we will meet at the registration desk at the Westin Nova
Scotian where the facilitators will give a brief introduction to the program
and discuss some exercise-related myths and facts that you may find surprising.  This will be followed by a walk along the harbourfront wherewe would like to discuss novel ways we could potentially evaluate our program that currently has over 1100 members.

This is a great opportunity to learn something new about exercise, enjoy a leisurely walk along the scenic harbourfront, and share your expertise and creative ideas around program evaluation.
